A sheet of 20 vinyl shrimp back imitation shells, each sheet has four sizes of shrimp back shells
5 XL - 14mm for #8 hook
5 L - 12mm for #10 hook
5 M - 10mm for #12 hook
5 S - 9MM for #14 hook
Sizes are the shell length not including the tying tabs, first decide which end of the fly you want the eyes to be as these shrimps can scuttle forward on their limbs, but also propel themselves backwards with tail thrusts, so the backs can be tied in eyes to the back or the front, depending on how fast you intend to retrieve.
Either way, tie the backs in by a tab, with the shinier side down. When you have dubbed the body and bring the back over toward the eye the shinier side will be uppermost, and be tied in by the other tab.
